KAILUA-KONA – A 27-year-old woman suffered injuries after two suspects broke into her residence, assaulted her and stole property last week, according to the weekly police report.
The incident occurred on July 29 on the 73-1200 block of Kaiminani Drive, according to the report from the Hawaii Police Department. At about 10:55 p.m., the victim reported two known females entered her bedroom at her residence by unlocking the interior door of her adjoined bathroom.
According to the crime report, the victim told police one of the suspects stated to her, “I want my ‘expletive,’” before hitting her about 10 times with a television accessory-type cord, causing lash marks on the victim’s left wrist, bridge of her nose, above her right eye and bruising to her upper left arm.
After being whipped with the cord, the victim told police she fell onto the bed where the suspects hit her five to six times with a closed fist to the back of the head.
According to the report, the victim stated the suspects took the television accessory-type cord from the residence.
Maj. Robert Wagner Hawaii Police said it appears no one has been taken into custody in connection to this incident at this time.
